Proceeds from the “Run to Break the Silence” are provided to the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund, Inc. HIKE is a not for profit charity. The purpose of the endowment fund is to provide hearing devices for children with hearing losses between the ages of newborn and twenty years whose parents are unable to meet this special need financially. An estimated 100 children are provided with hearing devices each year. Funds are distributed within each jurisdiction. This means all funds raised in Idaho stay in Idaho! Please help us pay it forward…

HIKE is the continuing philanthropic project of Job’s Daughters International. Job’s Daughters has a purpose to bring together young women, teach greater reverence for God, promote loyalty to the flag and the country for which it stands, and respect for parents and guardians. The HIKE fun-run and silent walk is hosted by Job’s Daughters Bethel 47 and Bethel 59. These Bethels are local Idaho Falls groups of the international organization. Membership is open to all young women, ages 10-20. For younger girls, a Jobie 2 Bee program is available. Young girls can participate in our social events and fund raisers while getting to know the members.
